SIMBAF WAS ORIGINALLY FOUNDED IN 1978 IN TEHRAN – IRAN. AT THAT TIME, THE FACTORY SUPPLIED THE COUNTRY REQUIRMENTS FOR THE POWER TRANSITION CABLES TO SOME EXTENT. BUT, DUE TO AN INCREASE OF THE COUNTRY INDUSTRIES AND THE COMPAY TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM REQUIRMENTS AND ALSO AN EXPANSION OF THE COMPANY INVESTMENT, THE FACTORY HAD TO BE MOVED TO A NEW SITE CALLED “ SAVEH INDUSTRIAL ZONE ” WITH A AREA OF 21000 SQUARE METER IN 1994 AND BEGAN ITS ACTIVITIES IN 1995.

2) Insulation: Polyethylene (PE):in types RE-Y(st)Y,RE-Y(st)Y-PIMF is P.V.C
3) Core identification: according to BS 5308 part 1
4) Wrapping: 1 layer of plastic tape
5) Pair screen: One layer aluminum/polyester tape over copper or tinned copper drain wire,0.5mm²
6) In types RE-2Y(st)2Y-SWAY,RE-2Y(st)Y-PIMF,RE-Y(st)PIMF
7) Collective screen:One layer aluminum/ppolyester tape over copper or tinned copper drain wire,0.5mm²
8) In types RE-2Y(st)2Y-SWAY,RE-2Y(st)2Y-SWAY-PIMF
9) RE-2Y(st)2Y-SWAY,RE-2Y(st)2Y-SWAY-PIMF
10) Bedding: Polyethylene (PE)
11) Armour: galvanized round steel wire

3) Working voltage: 300/500 V
4) Conductor resistance: As per class 1, 2 or 5 of IEC 60228 or BS 6360
5) Test voltage: 1.0 kv rms or 2.4 kvdc for 1 minute
6) Minimum insulation resistance:5000 MΩ .km
7) Mutual capacitance at 1.0 kHz: 115 nf/km for one and two pair, 75 nf/km for other cables
8) L/R (ratio):25µH/Ω  for 0.5 mm², 1 mm² -40µH/Ω  for 1.5 mm²
9) Flame retardant: Acc. IEC 60332-1 z
